Objective : The aim of this research was 0 investigate the effect of acupuncture and the effect of Dong's acupuncture on Bell's palsy. Methods : We measured the facial palsy changes of the patients who were admitted for Bell's palsy in the Oriental Medical hospital of Dongeui medical center from 07-01-2003 to 09-30-2003. Bell's palsy patients were divided into two groups. One group(A group) was teated by acupuncture. The other group(B group) was treated by Dong's acupuncture. The effects of these treatment was evaluated by Yanagihara's unweighted grading system. Results : B group was marked more higher than A group in treatment outcome. we discovered that it is significant differences between two groups after 2 week. Conclusion : These results provided that A group is more effective than B group on. For clearly comparing the effect of Acupuncture and Dong's Acupuncture on Bell's palsy, it is need more sample's number and more treatment's duration.

2003년 7월 1일부터 2003년 9월 30일까지 동의대학교 부속한방병원 침구과에 구안와사로 입원한 환자 46명을 무작위 추출하여 體鍼 치료군과 董氏鍼 치료군으로 나누어 처치한 후이 중에서 발병 후 7일이 지난 경우, 이성대상포진 환자를 제외하고 평균 7일의 입원치료와 이 후 4주간의 통원치료를 받았으며, 본원 양방이비인후과에 진단 검사 및 치료를 의뢰하여 한,양방 치료를 동시에 병행한 총 40례(體誠치료군 21례, 董氏鍼 치료군 19례)의 환자를 대상으로 체침과 동씨침의 치료 효과를 연구한 후 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다 1. 연별, 성별, 좌우, 병력기간, ENoG의 분포에 있어서 두 그룹 간에 통계적 유의성은 없었다. 2. 발생 유인은 피로에 스트레스가 겹친 경우가 가장 빈도가 높았으며, 다음으로 과로, 동기불명, 한랭노출에 과로 또는 스트레스가 겹친 경우, 과로에 과음이 겹친 경우 순으로 나타났다. 초기수반 증상은 耳後痛이 가장 빈도가 높았으며, 다음으로 눈물 과다분비, 안구건조, 항강, 무증상, 현훈ㆍ두통, 안면통ㆍ미각 소실, 청각 과민 순으로 빈도가 높았다. 3. Yanagihara`s System으로 측정한 치료 성적은 치료 전과 1주 후의 치료 성적에 있어 董氏鍼 치료군 성적이 體鍼 치료군보다 높기는 하였으나 통계적으로 유의성이 없었으며, 2주 후부터 5주 후까지 董氏鍼 치료군이 體鍼 치료군에 비해 유의하게 고득점을 나타내었다. 4. 體鍼 치료군과 董氏鍼 치료군 모두 각 그룹에 있어 시간에 따라 유의성 있는 성적 차이가 있었다.
