It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to TWINS 2019 to be held in Hong Kong SAR on 28-30 November 2019. It promises to be an enjoyable biennial conference of the international efforts on twins research and clinical management, with an exciting programme and contributions from a panel of world renowned speakers in a vibrant, cosmopolitan city where the east truly meets the west, reflecting the unique culture mix of the city. Hong Kong is also a true food paradise, with some of the world’s very best restaurants, from cheap eats and street food to high-end eateries. I hope you will have an oppportunity to experience many of the local dishes that capture Hong Kong’s east-meets-west heritage in the most delicious ways. The conference will cover a wide range of exciting topics and recent advancement in research including omics, neuroimaging, prenatal screening and diagnosis, preterm birth and twins-specific complications such as TTTS, TAPS.
