학명 Alpinia officinarum Hance (고량강)
기원 고량강 (高良薑) Alpinia officinarum Hance (생강과 Zingiberaceae)의 뿌리줄기
약성/귀경 맵고(辛) 뜨겁다(熱). 비(脾)와 위경(胃經)에 작용한다.
효능 온중지통(溫中止痛), 강역(降逆) 온중(溫中): a therapeutic method to treat yang deficiency of the spleen and stomach with warm-tonifying medicinals 냉통(冷痛): pain accompanied by a cold sensation and relieved by warmt 강역하기(降逆下氣): a therapeutic method of treating upward counterflow of qi in the lung and stomach manifested as cough, asthma, hiccupping or vomiting
