학명 Zingiber officinale Roscoe (생강)
기원 생강과(Zingiberaceae) 생강(Zingiber officinale Roscoe)의 신선한 뿌리줄기
약성/귀경 맵고(辛) 약간 따뜻하다(微溫). 폐(肺), 비(脾), 위경(胃經)에 작용한다.
효능 발한해표(發汗解表), 온중지구(溫中止嘔), 온폐지해(溫肺止咳), 해독(解毒) 발한해표(發汗解表): a therapeutic method to release exterior pattern/syndrome by using diaphoretics 온중지구(溫中止嘔): a therapeutic method of warming the middle energizer to stop vomiting 온폐(溫肺): a therapeutic method to treat cold pattern/syndrome of the lung by using warming medicinals 해독(解毒): (1) measure to lessen the virulence of pathogens; (2) a method of neutralizing the toxic property of poisons
