EQUATOR network에서는 의학 연구보고의 투명성과 정확성 및 엄격한 보고 지침을 널리 사용하도록 제고하여 출판된 의학 연구 문헌의 신뢰와 가치를 높이기 위한 가이드라인을 모아놓음. 무작위 비교임상시험에 대한 CONSORT 지침, 체계적 문헌고찰에 대한 PRISMA 지침, 역학 관찰연구에 대한 STROBE 등이 있음.

The EQUATOR (Enhancing the QUAlity and Transparency Of health Research) Network is an international initiative that seeks to improve the reliability and value of published health research literature by promoting transparent and accurate reporting and wider use of robust reporting guidelines including CONSORT statment for randomized controlled trials, PRISMA for systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and STROBE for observational studies in epidemiology.
