  • On behalf of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS), we are pleased to invite you to the International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA from September 13-17, 2020.
Philadelphia is one of North America’s largest and most iconic metropolises. It is a city rich with American cultural heritage, and home to many landmarks and symbols of the American Revolution, including the stately Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was signed by America’s Founding Fathers in 1776.
Philadelphia is a prosperous center of industry and education, named the “City of Brotherly Love” by one of its early settlers, the Quaker William Penn, who wanted to combine the teeming industry and growing population into a community of growth and endless prospects. Philadelphia is an international study destination, home of multiple colleges and universities and a vibrant Movement Disorders community.
For the 2020 International Congress in Philadelphia, we look forward to having our growing Society of clinicians, scientists, and healthcare professionals gather to emulate the industriousness and passion of this city, bringing together groundbreaking research on a variety of Movement Disorders topics, multidisciplinary approaches to care and therapeutics, and leading Movement Disorders education including, among the many offered sessions, hot topics, controversies, and our not-to-be-missed video challenge on rare cases to diagnose and treat.
As always, MDS promises invaluable networking opportunities, avenues to leadership, and stimulating discussions to fulfill the scientific mission of the Society.
