  • This Congress will bring the Rehabilitation community together for an exciting educational and networking event. The slogan of this Congress “Disability the Challenge, promoting a culture of Rehabilitation around the world, the response” reveals the reality of the process of rehabilitation in our time. One of the goals of the meeting is to collaborate to the achievement of the ISPRM Mission: “to optimize functioning and health-related quality of life and minimise disability in people with disability and medical problems throughout the world.” The expected number of participants is more than 3,000. There will be leading experts in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from all over the world. International relevant organisations and NGO’s patient will be represented and other rehabilitation professionals will participate in the conference. In the congress the most recent scientific studies in PM&R, will be presented and discussed, innovation in rehabilitation measures and technology will be in the focus of the conference. Discussions about future perspectives including all relevant players in the field will be organized. Seminars and hands-on workshop will make the conference attractive for all rehabilitation professionals and especially for young doctors and residents. Innovation of rehabilitation technology will be presented in an extensive industrial exhibition. In spite of the widely recognized Mexican hospitality, you will have opportunity to take part in an incomparable program of social activities, visiting theme parks, swim with dolphins, enjoy ours beautiful beaches and visit one of the marvels of the modern world: Chichen-Itza’s archaeological zone and Kukulkan’s pyramid.
