KMCRIC

세계보건기구(WHO : World Health Organization)는 암 발생의 3분의 1은 예방활동 실천으로 예방이 가능하고, 3분의 1은 조기 진단 및 조기 치료로 완치가 가능하며, 나머지 3분의 1의 암환자도 적절한 치료를 하면 완화가 가능하다는 취지로 '3-2-1'을 상징하여 매년 3월 21일을 '암 예방의 날'로 지정하였습니다.

암 예방의 날의 주요 목표는 암에 대한 인식 제고, 치료 방법에 대한 이해, 암에 대한 지식을 바탕으로 한 실천, 암 예방·치료를 위한 사회 전반의 책임감과 행동 고무 등 입니다.
